Real numbers from our first year in the field
These figures come from active pilot farms on the ROXANNE platform and are updated each season as our dataset grows. Below, we explain exactly what each number does — and does not — mean.
Measured reduction in irrigation water use across our active Colorado pilot fields.
Colorado growers currently running one or more ROXANNE modules on their operation.
Typical early-warning window our model provides before visible crop damage appears.
Total acreage currently instrumented with ROXANNE sensors or under active analysis.
What we measure, module by module
Six Colorado farm operations are currently running one or more ROXANNE modules across more than 1,200 acres. Each snapshot below is labelled as a measured result, ongoing tracking, or a design target.
Smart Irrigation
Sensor-driven watering schedules running on active Colorado pilot fields, with zone-level control across soil types, slope, and crop stage.
AI Crop Intelligence
Forecasts combine sensor data, imagery, and local weather to flag fungal and blight risk before visible crop damage appears.
Soil Health Suite
Microbiome analysis paired with regenerative recommendations, with soil health indicators tracked to validate the return on practice changes.
Bioengineered Seed Genetics
Drought-tolerant, high-protein varieties selected against local soil and climate profiles. This is a design target, not a measured pilot result.
How we report results
We're one year into operating, so sample sizes are small. Rather than round the picture up, we document the boundaries of what our data supports.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure on this page is drawn from active Colorado pilot farms running one or more ROXANNE modules. We don't publish projected or modeled outcomes as results.
What "avg. water savings" means
27% is the average reduction in irrigation water use across our active pilot fields. It is an average across pilots — not a promise for any individual operation.
What "disease-alert lead time" means
3–5 days is the typical gap between a model alert and visible crop damage in pilot fields. It is a warning window, not a diagnosis or a guarantee.
How the dataset grows
Figures are refreshed each season as our dataset grows. Because we are one year into operating, sample sizes are small — and we say so rather than rounding up.
Independent review in progress
An independent agronomy advisor is reviewing our pilot-season water and yield data before we publish updated performance figures. Findings will be published alongside our next seasonal report.
